"The hall is a popular one to hire for both commercial and family gatherings so we decided to give it a facelift.
The Scouts and Guides had used the hall for over 50 years for games with balls, water, chalk, food, poles and trolleys. A good look at the floor revealed nail heads up, rust from the nails seeping into the boards, missing bits of flooring, splinters and cracks.
A search of the internet revealed several flooring companies and we contacted three who all gave similar quotes. However we found Abacus and their team to be on time and pointed out areas that would need special attention. They discussed areas that could be done differently and suggested the final coat that would be appropriate.
Their quote arrived on time and the final invoice had no variations. Their follow up with me was also appreciated. Finally we gave them the go ahead. They turned up on the appointed days and were happy to discuss any matters when I dropped in to see the progress. The hall was left spotless and we were able to resume our scouting activities. All in all a pleasing experience to deal with Abacus"
