Organise a Time for Polishing and Sanding when Disruption to Staff will be Minimal

Furniture will need to be removed from the floor space being treated, which may include desks and equipment. Floors will need to be left bare of furniture for up to 4 days to allows time for the polish to dry. This is a rough guide. The time, of course, varies depending on the size and scope of the project.

Before the start day you will need to have organised all your furniture to be removed from the rooms. If the floor area has built in cupboards or workspaces, the floor areas of these items will need to be cleared.

• To be able to seal rooms to keep out dust from the finished areas.
Any air vents, air-conditioning units, doorways and fireplaces need to be sealed with masking tape. Light fittings and curtains should be covered with plastic or paper bags.
